HI, I’m Katie, an English PhD at Stanford

I work on American literature through the lens of feminist theory and narrative form. My academic research focuses on how American women authors of the Progressive Era imagined alternatives to the marriage plot. 

I am also a dedicated teacher of writing and composition as well as an advocate of the public humanities and making academic work and thought accessible to all.
